The interpretation of dreams by dream experts is probably as old as dreaming itself. We know that all humans, and many animals, dream every night, and humans have always been fascinated to learn what causes dreams and what they mean.

The interpretation of dreams dates back at least as far as 3000-4000 B.C. We know that because the interpretations of dreams were recorded in permanent form on clay tablets. It’s thought that many primitive peoples were unable to initially distinguish between the real world and the dream world. For more details visit to www.joint-venture-guide.com
In many cases, they looked upon the dream world as an extension of the physical world around them, and in many cases they saw the dream world as more powerful than the waking one.

Dream interpretation was such an important field to the ancient Greek and Roman world that dream interpreters often accompanied generals and other military leaders into battles. Dreams were taken extremely seriously, and the Greeks and Romans in particular often viewed dreams as messages sent by their gods.

Dreams also had a religious content in ancient Egypt, and priest their doubled as dream interpreters. Dreams were among the items recorded by the ancient Egyptians in the form of hieroglyphics. Those whose dreams were especially vivid or significant were thought to be blessed and were given special status in these ancient societies. Likewise, people who were able to interpret dreams were thought to receive these gifts directly from the gods, and they enjoyed a special status in society as well.
There are over 700 mentions of dreams in the bible, and people in biblical times saw dreams as very significant. Dreams and their interpretations are mentioned in many of the most significant books of the bible and other holy scriptures.

In many cases, dreams were often seen as a form of prophecy. People often interpreted their dreams as omens or warnings, and adjusted their activities accordingly. Dreams were often thought of as omens from deities, as messages from spirits, or as messages from departed souls. In some cases, dreams were even seen as the work of demons, meant to confuse and trouble the dreamer.

Dreams were so important that they often dictated the actions of political and military leaders, affecting everything from the prosecution of a battle to the outcome of a political decision. Dreams were also thought to provide vital clues to healers, and they were used in the diagnosis and treatment of all manners of illness.

Dreaming was often looked upon by indigenous peoples as a way to commune directly with gods and spirits, and dreams are still used in this way by cultures around the world. Many people believed, and some still do, that during dream sleep the soul leaves the body and communes with the spirit world.

The Chinese were one culture who believed that the soul left the body each night during dream sleep. They believed that if the dreamer were suddenly awakened the soul may not be able to return to the body. That is why some Chinese are still leery about the use of alarm clocks. This is just one example of how ancient legends can linger into the modern world.

Some Mexican and Native American societies share this ancient view of the importance of dreams, and share the belief in a separate dimension that is visited during dream sleep. These people believed that their departed ancestors lived in their dreams, and that they were able to take forms like animals and plants. Thus dreams were seen as a way for them to commune with their recent and ancient ancestors, and to gather wisdom and knowledge that would serve them in their waking lives. To know more logon to www.jointwebventures.com .Dreams were also seen as ways to gather information about their purpose or mission in life.

The respect for dreams changed radically early in the 19th century, and dreams in that era were often dismissed as reactions to anxiety, outside noises or even bad food and indigestion. During this period
Of time, dreams were thought to have no meaning at all, and interest in dream interpretation all but evaporated. This all changed, however, with the arrival of Sigmund Freud later in the 19th century. Sigmund Freud stunned the world of psychiatry by stressing the importance of dreams, and he revived the once dead art of dream interpretation.

What is a Dream?

Dream is defined as a sequence of images that passes through a sleeping person, much like a video show except that it also carries some personal emotions. Everyone have dreams but most people do not know that their dreams do have significant impact on their real life. Dream serves to warn, instruct, direct, and foretell future events in a person’s life.

Are dreams significant in a person’s life?

Dreams are the messages of the night. It is also called visions of darkness, because it is during deep sleep that our inner soul becomes sensitive to the spiritual realm. The messages in the dreamscape contain symbols which are specific to the dreamer and so a dream dictionary can not be accurately applied for any serious dream interpretation.

Dreams can truly benefit the recipient only when it is properly interpreted. Some dreams occur from having too much activity during the day and it only reflects our mood, this kind of dream does not carry any significant messages. There are however, certain dreams which bring us warning of future events in our life and these are prophetic dreams and we should pay special attention.

Types of Dreams

There are basically 3 major types of dreams.

Type I is the carnal dreams that come from the internal soul of the person. . Past troubles which we have not properly dealt with can manifest fear, anger, and sadness and caused recurring dreams.

Type II is the Spiritual Prophetic dreams which is sent by God to foretell the future. This type of dream almost always speaks about the future and they are very important to us.

Type III is the dream we get when we are hyper active during the day. This type is more confusing and leads to disturbed sleep since they are haphazard and disjointed.

How are dreams interpreted?

In the bible, Proverbs 18:16, “A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great.”

Dreams Interpretation is a gift, it can not be easily learnt in a class setting, but it however can be imparted by a spiritual mentor. Impartation refers to the spiritual laying of hands upon the person and saying a prayer over them.

Dream is a form of divine communication that connect God with to us since God promised to tell his servant what is to come. Dream is a more complete system of authentic communication because it is a four dimensional message, it contains events, people, feelings and words or symbols. Dream can not be intercepted as in any man made device.

The dreams are interpreted much the same as the instantaneous flow of prophetic utterance, meaning given by the Holy Spirit. Peace with assurance that comes from the Holy Spirit will be the only guidance that ascertains the truth. In the book of Hosea 12:10, the bible says “I have also spoken by the prophets, and have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets.” This refers to prophetic dreams. Although anyone can claim that they can interpret dreams, the difference between true and false interpretation is that the truth will come to pass.

Philippines 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

1Corinthian 14:33, “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.”

JOSEPH THE KING OF DREAMS

Joseph’s first dream was about rising high above his brothers. Joseph’s second dream of rising was about his brothers and parents paying homage to him. God had prepared Joseph to interpret Pharaoh’s dream.

When God sends you two dreams on the same matter, it will surely come to pass without fail. The bible says that a matter must be established by two unchangeable facts; Matthew 18:16, 2 Corinthians 13:1 and Deuteronomy 19:15.

So why did God favor Joseph? Joseph honored his father Jacob and was obedient and trustworthy so he was chosen to be trained in God’s school of adversity. He was told by God what will happen to Egypt. Knowing is only half the solution without the how to solve it, knowledge is useless. God does not give us a warning and then we are to pray about it, in fact, we are to order our life around the dream so that we will not be affected by any crisis.

Joseph’s Interpretation of Dreams

Someone’s problem becomes our promotion and God’s making us famous by marketing us to the key people in the world.

Joseph’s first dream interpretation for the Cupbearer and the Baker in Genesis 40:1, was a preparation for him to meet the most powerful man in Egypt. Joseph’s second dream interpretation regarding the Pharaoh’s two different dreams; one about the corns and the other about the cows was God’s divine plan to exalt Joseph over Egypt. God caused Pharaoh to have those dreams.

Only the anointed one from God is able to answer this riddle. And only Jesus Christ is the baptizer of the Spirit and only Jesus can authenticate a gift and since it’s a gift, not all people are called to be interpreter of dreams. My people suffer from the lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6. But God said in 1 Corinthian 2:9, “However, it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.”

Finally, dream Interpretation is a spiritual gift, and if you have a dream you should consult reputable Christians of the same faith. I pray that you will have divine messages of the night from our Lord Jesus Christ. If you need your dreams to be interpreted you can check out my website at www.kingscepter.com and send me your dreams at prophet3333@yahoo.com.

Dream Interpretation

Dreams are real life….

Every time when we dream of images, people who are close to us or strangers at time, building, etc. that puzzle and amaze us. Ever wonder why we dream. It is no accident that one third of our lives spend in sleep and that much of this in dreams sleep. This is a major part of our lives and it is clear that sleep is not just about giving body much needed time to relax, rest but about providing us with the opportunity to dream.

Dreaming has many purposes:

Ø To clarify problems

Ø To reveal true feelings about others

Ø To take pressure off when times are tough

Ø To develop creativity

Ø To rehears future success

Recalling Dreams

Ø If you have difficulty in recalling your dreams, write down your mood on waking and any special thing that might happen in your dream which you can remember.

Ø Write yourself a note before you go for sleep:”Tonight I will remember a dream”.

How to interpret our Dream: People in our life

Each of us has a set of personal symbols that grow out of our life experiences. The essence of our dreams largely arises from these unique personal experiences.

{A dream of a teacher may indicate new learning for you.}

Mother: Mother means everything for a child, whenever our mother appears in our dream there is some connection:

Ø Are you in need of mothering? Do you need to be looked after and cared for?

Ø Do you think you are over-controlling or over-protective?

Ø Are you burdened by your responsibility as a mother?

Ø Do your dreams show the freedom to have fun with your children as well as take care of them?

Father: Relationships with fathers are highly significant. Fathers symbolize authority and protection. Whether you grew up with your biological father, a stepfather or a father figure, you will have been influenced by the nature of your bond. As we grow up we learn that our parents are not perfect and in dreams this awareness may come as a shock. I dream that my father comes back to home to live with us and he was smiling and always happy. This dream makes up for what the dreamer lacks.

Sister: sisters in dreams may refer to rivalry or competition. When I was young, I dreamed that my sister was in my class at school and I got really angry. If you have similar dreams, it my means that you are still trying to resolve issues from your past or that there is a current relationship that has similar conflicts.

Brother: Brother in dreams means sibling rivalry, dreams about a brother often relate to taking care of him, of being in parental, responsible role, with the possibility of failing and being blamed if anything goes wrong. This may produce strange dreams: I dreamed that my brother changed into a little red hen and I was chasing him down the road. Being elder brother john always felt he had to look after his fast moving unpredictable brother.

I dreamed that my elder brother came to know about my boyfriend and he shut me in study room all night, leaving me alone whole night. This indicates you are hiding something very important from your elder brother and you when he came to know your relationship will be in trouble.

Grandfather: Grandfather gives a sense of continuity in family life. Like grandmothers, grandfathers are traditionally viewed as protective, caring and more indulgent than parents. Connection:

     I. Do you need the wisdom of an elder to guide you on your way?

II. If your grandfather is alive, could your dream be a reminder to visit him?

Grandmother: Grandmothers are wise elder who, after death, return to us in dreams to guide us or to accompany us through difficult times. They often comfort us. At times they share their experience and symbolize in dreams.

Daughter: The birth of child may reactive anxieties about our own childhood experience. A client who was 6 year old when her sister died cause of cancer, she use to dream that her own daughter would also die because of same disease.Though such unpleasant dreams do help us to face our fears about morality and help us to overcome. A daughter in dream may indicate a desire to have daughter or may represent yourself as a little girl, perhaps your inner child. At times such dreams to indicate “can you accept the dream daughter who comes to you”

Husband: Dreams in which your husband appears usually related to pleasure and pains in your daily life, as well as pointing out hidden conflicts. As marital bliss may turn sour, so dreams dramatize this change. If you have a close bond with your partner, you may find that you dream of the same subject on the same night.

Wife: Close relationships are the subject of the most women’s dreams and as wives we dream of husbands and children. Sometime women dream of being married, about the wedding and the ceremony that is involved, but less frequently they dream of being the “wife”. Wife swapping dreams, in which married couples swap partners for sexual gratification, may reflect a longing for another partner or a desire to spice up your sex life. If dream involves a couple you know, think about whether you are attracted to either

partner. However, remember in dreams there are no censor, so the wild fantasies that you dream about can exist without you having to put the dream into practice in your waking life.

Friend: There is a saying that friends are what God gives us to make up for our families. While this may not be true for many people, it does acknowledge the importance of friends. They are there to sustain us in the worst times and to celebrate the best times. Connections-

Ø Fair-weather friend is one of your friend there when the world is wonderful, but not when you need more support?

Ø A friend in need is a friend indeed- does a friend want your help? As able to give it ?

Lover: in dreams, lover may be your waking partner, your ideal or your wish-fulfillment partner, or they may even compensate for a waking situation that is unsatisfactory.

YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE are crucial. Family, friends, lover and colleagues all play a role in bringing breadth and depth to your life. Dreams reveal what is happening below the surface and allow you to go beyond superficial ties to the roots of your connection with others. Dreams can also remind you to those who are important to you and can nudge you to make contact again.

Relationships take us to the limits our emotional range, from great joy to utter despair, and they can bring us into contact with the finality of death. In short dream will give you guidance on ways to ease the pain.
