I’ve seen Anathema live in Dublin this year in february, they’re absolutely awesome live I have to say. I really love this band and the fact that they experiment a lot going from one genre to another without selling out or getting too much mainstream, still giving us pearls such as this song.
well before goin all psychadelic at the end there that basically sums up PF and david gilmour. so yeah, i appreciate that anathema openly takes influences rather than saying “no, we didn’t take any influence from them, it’s just a coincidence.” as for memorable guitarists, i suggest listening to edenbridge, that guys tone is up there with gilmours.
